Nineteen Tales of COVID-19
A collection of fiction and non-fiction from the first days of the pandemic
I joined a local writer's group spearheaded by Jackie Brown to help me with the memoir I was working on. Jackie started the group on a project to publish a book with compilations by all members. While searching for a theme to which all could contribute, the COVID-19 epidemic swept through the world. Everyone was impacted and this provided a subject to which all could relate.
Nineteen Tales is a collection of personal experiences, advice, and fiction revolving around the start of COVID-19, by nineteen local authors. Since I enjoy writing limericks, my contribution is a poem that captures the strangeness of how COVID had suddenly changed our world at a personal level.
